The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association has announced the winners of the 2026 Parade of Homes, celebrating another outstanding year of homebuilding, design, craftsmanship, and innovation throughout the Cape Fear region.
This year’s event was especially meaningful, as 2026 marked the 40th Annual Parade of Homes. Since 1986, the Parade has given the public an opportunity to explore some of the region’s finest new homes while highlighting the builders, designers, and trade professionals who continue to shape residential construction across southeastern North Carolina.
For this milestone anniversary, more than 60 homes were featured, representing over $50 million in real estate. Homes were grouped by price category and judged on craftsmanship, quality of materials, interior features, exterior design, and overall presentation.
In addition to celebrating this year’s award-winning homes, the 2026 Parade of Homes also recognized two individuals who have made a lasting impact on the local building industry and the greater Cape Fear region. Dave Spetrino and Tyler Newman were named the 2026 Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association Hall of Fame inductees, honoring their leadership, dedication, and positive influence on the area.
From thoughtfully designed kitchens and spa-inspired bathrooms to inviting outdoor living spaces and energy-efficient construction, this year’s winners highlight the many ways builders across the region are meeting the needs of today’s homeowners. The awards also reflect the wide range of housing options available across the Cape Fear area, from approachable new homes to luxury custom builds.
Congratulations to all of the 2026 Parade of Homes winners, as well as every builder, designer, trade partner, and team member who helped bring these homes to life. We also extend a special congratulations to Dave Spetrino and Tyler Newman for their Hall of Fame recognition and continued contributions to the community.
For 40 years, the Parade of Homes has helped raise the bar for residential construction in our region while giving future homeowners a firsthand look at the talent and craftsmanship found throughout the Cape Fear building community.
