Hagood Homes’ focus is to create with care & integrity a superior living environment for our customers. We call it Live Better Design. Whether it be a custom design or a neighborhood plan, we design our homes in-house so that Hagood Homes is a part of the process from the start. Homeowners benefit from our constant attention to details, offering better lifestyle features and more value for the investment.
The first Hagood Home rests among the moss covered oaks and towering pine trees of Barnwell, South Carolina. Built in 1841, it is still a living, breathing home filled with the spirit of inspiration. Jim Kenny’s great grandfather, Johnson Hagood was the man responsible for the construction of the first Hagood Home. Jim and Troy Kenny continued the Hagood legacy by creating Hagood Homes, Inc. in 1996. Jim has instilled quality in every Hagood Home, while Troy has ensured that every Hagood Home design is a true original. Troy was born with a creative talent that has placed her floor plans in a class of their own.
The combination of inspiration, heart and hard work has proven successful for Jim and Troy Kenny. Together they have won the prestigious Parade of Homes Gold Award for several consecutive years and perfect scores for their designs and quality of work. Hagood Home’s focus is to produce a quality product with integrity and to maintain the solid reputation Jim and Troy have created.
