About

The Weekends of May 14 & 15, 21 & 22 from Noon to 5pm.

For 25 years, the Parade of Homes has been the first place for families in the Cape Fear region to explore the options of new homeownership. The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association began their tradition of the annual Parade of Homes events in 1987. The premier event featured 26 homes dispersed across New Hanover County. The tour was held over one weekend in October and featured homes with prices averaging $100,000. The 25th Anniversary of Parade of Homes features 50 of the area’s top homes ranging in price from $120,000’s to $2 million plus.

Sponsored by the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association, the 25th Anniversary Parade of Homes features 50 new homes all crafted by local builders in a variety of price ranges and styles. This year’s event, held May 14-15 and May 21-22, reflects a vibrant housing market.

A detailed map and additional information is featured in the Plan Book Magazine, the Star-News special tabloid insert and the all-new mobile app. The homes are open from noon to 5 p.m. and all entries are open to the public free of charge.
